Middle School Track (Coed)

Team Information

 

Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader interested in participating in Coed MS Track this Spring, please complete the google form below.

 

Students must have current physical on file and athletic clearance paperwork completed prior to work-outs or try-outs.  

      1. What you need to do:

        1. Create a DragonFly account by clicking here: DragonflyAthletics.com

        2. Upload necessary documents (e.g., physical exam, insurance info.)

        3. Complete all required forms and agreements within DragonFly.

    3. If you know others who are interested in MS Track and Field please have them complete the interest form: 2026 Coed MS Track Interest Form 

    4. 2026 Middle School Track Schedule 

Try-out Information: students change in restrooms in the rear of north gym near track and meet coaches on track, please bring water bottle, wear comfortable athletic clothing (layers if it will be cold) and comfortable running shoes. Reminder athletes must have a current physical on file and completed athletic clearance to try out. Without those you will not be allowed to participate in tryouts. 

  1. Tuesday, February 10th,  3:15-4:15pm.  Pick-up in North Carpool.
  2. Thursday, February 12th,   3:15-5:00pm  Pick-up in North Carpool.
  3. Thursday, February 12th, 5-5:30pm  Parent meeting in MPR

NOTE: if you/your athlete will miss a tryout date you must let Coach Brodt or I know in advance.  (sbrodt@unionacademy.org or jstclair@unionacademy.org)

Look ahead & Associated Team Fees: 

  1. Associated Fees for Track Team Membership - $225+ CAC fee if not already paid and $25 MS Track Fee per athlete (both can be paid on mypaymentsplus website and must be paid in full prior to the first meet)
  2. Each athlete will need a pair of comfortable, supportive running shoes; purchasing track spikes is optional
  3. Uniforms need to be purchased this season. Uniform tops (Vault perf track singlet) must be purchased through the team store, see link below (please note there are youth sizes, mens sizes and womens sizes). Uniform bottoms need to be black  (running shorts or if ladies prefer volleyball shorts that is fine). Please note the track store closes on Monday, February 16th.
