Coach Yanascek has a passion for learning and teaching, in the classroom as well as in the pool. Coach Yanscek also has a love for reading and theater. She has been an assistant coach for Middle School and Varsity Swim since 2017 at Union Academy, as well as being a certified swim official.
Coach Yanacsek has two children; son, Lucas, who graduated from Union Academy in 2017 and from Wingate University in 2020 and a daughter, Ellie, who graduated from UA in 2020, and currently attends Wingate University and is a member of the Bulldog Cheer Team. Ellie is also the current Varsity Cheer Coach at Union Academy.
