UNION ACADEMY STUDENT-ATHLETES HONORED AT FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS CHARLOTTE FOOTBALL & CHEER AWARDS
Union Academy is proud to announce the recognition of three outstanding student-athletes at the 12th Annual Friday Night Lights Charlotte Football & Cheer Awards, hosted by Tripp Roakes of The South Charlotte Sports Report. This annual event celebrates the achievements of student-athletes who excel on the field, on the sidelines, and in their communities.
Union Academy is proud to announce the recognition of three outstanding student-athletes at the 12th Annual Friday Night Lights Charlotte Football & Cheer Awards, hosted by Tripp Roakes of The South Charlotte Sports Report. This annual event celebrates the achievements of student-athletes who excel on the field, on the sidelines, and in their communities.
Union Academy’s honorees exemplify the values of leadership, dedication, and sportsmanship, which are the pillars of the school’s mission: Challenge, Character, Community.
- Brinkley Housand, a cheerleader, was named one of two winners of the Rising Star of the Year Award. Nominated by Coach Watt, Brinkley’s talent, enthusiasm, and hard work earned her this prestigious recognition, marking her as a standout among her peers.
- Brayden Bartlett, also a cheerleader, received the 110% Cheerleader of the Year Award as one of two winners. Nominated by Coach Watt for her exceptional commitment and relentless drive, Brayden embodies the spirit of giving her all to her team and school.
- Eli Williams, a football player, was honored with the Leadership Award. Eli’s ability to inspire his teammates and lead by example both on and off the field showcases his character and commitment to excellence.
Union Academy celebrates the accomplishments of Brinkley, Brayden, and Eli, who represent the best of our school’s dedication to fostering both athletic and personal growth.
“We are incredibly proud of Brinkley, Brayden, and Eli for being recognized at this prestigious event,” said Justin Frashier, Athletic Director. “Their achievements reflect the values of hard work, teamwork, and leadership that are central to our Union Academy community.”
The awards, presented by The South Charlotte Sports Report, highlight student-athletes who excel not only in their sport but also as leaders and role models. Union Academy congratulates all the honorees and finalists for their remarkable achievements.
